Our dedicated and passionate team are committed to accessibility, equality and education for hunters.
Alice Sanders
Alice is a third generation Sanders. Mount Campbell Station is her family’s high country station, farming ultra fine merino and Angus Cattle. Admittedly she didn’t shoot her first deer until she was 30. From corporate to hunter, Alice is a fabulous multi-tasker and day to day wears a lot of hats… lawyer, junior farmer, tramper, rock climber and of course hunter!
As a member and committee member of Deerstalkers she completed their HUNTs course and is now forever ticking off new hunts and experiences.
Starting the Mount Campbell Hunting Club, Alice wanted to give people like her, who are busy or nervous or don’t know where to start, the chance to learn to hunt in a welcoming, fun and educational setting.
Kuran Ireland
Our Head Guide, Kuran Ireland, is quite simply one of the most knowledgeable, smart and down to earth hunters you will ever meet. We are extremely lucky to have him on our team sharing his passion and knowledge with our hunters.
Being a hunter for as long as he can remember, Kuran has fond memories of pestering his father to take him hunting whenever the opportunity arose. His dedication for hunting has opened many opportunities – finding himself in professional roles as a wrangler, guide, culler and educator within New Zealand and across the globe. He is even the host of the podcast @theeducatedhunter.
Kuran loves to break down the barriers to entry for hunters and better educate them, sharing his ethical values to promote a connection with the land, the animal and the process. He instills strong moral values and ensures hunting is fun.
