Our Story
Welcome to Mount Campbell Hunting Club
Our mission is to give people the skills and information to become better hunters. The very core of the club is based upon passion and respect for land, animals and the experience of hunting.

The Mount Campbell Hunting Club, offering learn to hunt workshops and guided hunts, is the brainchild of Alice Sanders. Developing her interest in hunting in her late 20’s she became intrigued by the ethics, habitat, health and genetics of the animals. She was lucky enough to meet Kuran (hunting guide extraordinaire) who had hunted on her family’s high country station and the wider region since forever. Over the last few years Alice has learnt all she could and hasn’t looked back. Her passion is now to give others the same opportunity to learn as she had.
All our hunts are located on a free range private station just outside Alexandra in the South Island of New Zealand. Owned and run by the third generation farming family, the Sanders.
Let us arm you with all the skills you need to start your hunting journey.
We guarantee it will be an experience like no other.
“I've started the Mount Campbell Hunting Club, to give people like me, who are busy or nervous or don't know where to start, the confidence to get started. Helping people find their 'why' for hunting, with the hope they will come back for more advanced courses, join their local deerstalkers or have the ability to enjoy hunting with friends or head into the wild by themselves.”
